A normal ritual theme would have been useful. Unfortunately, normal 《Galaxy》/《Photon》won't insert 《Paladin of Photon Dragon》, so it won't be used. Since there is no turn 1, if you have two Noble Knights in your hand, you can line up both. But there is no return for search or card drain.

I think Eclipse Wyvern is a good matchup when excluding GY monsters? With Wyvern excluded, he feels like a Galaxy-Eyes search... I feel like what's going on after searching... In the first place, it's a bit troublesome to drop him to GY... Also, it's a shame that he's perfect for level 4...

The biggest advantage of this card is that you can ritual summon Noble Knight by excluding this card and materials from GY.
The advantage is that it can be used not only after using it from your hand, but also as a hand cost for things like Summon Priest.
On the other hand, the disadvantage is that high-level monsters such as Galaxy-Eyes cannot be released. Rotting situations are rare, but it hurts not to drop Galaxy-Eyes on his GY.
Any Photon Deck that uses Galaxy-Eyes is fine.
It works well with Ritual Support Manjugod, Chain that can send this card to his GY, and Summon Priest.

The fact that he can activate this card from GY and perform a ritual summon with only his GY cost makes 《Paladin of Photon Dragon》a non-standard Ritual Monster.
